Supplement Review: ISO-Amino by MAN Sports
Before getting into the review, lets breakdown what is in the product:
As you can see, MAN Sports kept it simple with this product. They’ve opted to stick with the tried and true, clinically studied 2:1:1 ratio of BCAA’s. Each scoop provides a 5 gram serving of BCAA’s.
Aminos that taste like CANDY???
It’s true!
Sour Batch – 9.5/10
This is the flavor that initially attracted me to ISO-Amino, and it really held up to the hype! This really tastes like Sour Patch Kids. It hits the trademark “sour then sweet” without leaving any strange aftertaste. This stuff is addicting. If you’ve been on the edge about this one, do not hesitate to give it a try!
DORKS – 9/10
Again, MAN Sports nailed the flavoring. It tastes and smells just like a handful of Nerds candy. The flavor is not overpowering, or overly sweet, but it IS refreshing. This is also a great mixer with pre-workouts or other products as it takes on the flavors it is added to, but rounds it out with the Nerds taste.
Tiger’s Blood – 9/10
WOW! From the name of this flavor, I was not sure what to expect. If you’ve ever been to a tropical resort, you may have seen a drink named Miami Vice, which is essentially a Pina Colada mixed with a strawberry Daiquiri. That is Tiger’s Blood. If you love Pina Colada, chances are you will love this flavor.
Starblaze – 8/10
Not every flavor is going to be a grand slam. However, Starblaze is still a very good flavor. It is definitely in line with the taste of Starburst candy, yet this flavor ends up being underwhelming. I ended up mixing it in with a lemon-lime pre-workout, which amped up the Starburst flavor.
